The Egg Parlor

The Egg Parlor in Silvis, Illinois serves breakfast and lunch. They are new to the Quad Cities as of September 2019.  So today Esther and I decided to start our shopping adventure with breakfast at the Egg Parlor.  It would be hard not to have some interest in this new restaurant.  After all, as they were preparing for the opening whenever you went by there was a sign and yellow chairs outside, which were intriguing. There are a variety of items on the menu that sound delicious.  Esther and I both had the Eggy classic which is two eggs, avocado, tomato, and potato or fruit.  I had house potatoes which are diced with onions and peppers and Esther had a cup of fruit.  Esther also had a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice. The service was good and by the time we were finished the place was busy.  It was good and we both would go back again.  I would like to try the mini waffle breakfast sliders or pancakes.  I think that would be something to get as an appetizer to share.  So if your looking for something new for breakfast, lunch or brunch I would go to Egg Parlor.
